PODCASTS
As Creative Lead at The Peers Project I created two original podcast series. I conceptualised and launched both series from the ground up, leading content development, sourcing and prepping guests, shaping episode narratives and scripts for the hosts as well as writing the supporting copy, like summaries and episode descriptions.
Accessed That
An 11-part podcast series developed with Tourism Queensland to do two jobs: inspire travel without limitation while educating the tourism industry on how to do better.
Hosted by paralympian Karni Liddell and stand-up comedian Oliver Hunter, the podcast explores what it’s really like to live and travel with a disability. Each episode, we sent a travel lover on an adventure around Queensland, then got them back into the studio to chat about the experience – epiphanies, anecdotes, tips, ‘watch outs’ for exploring the state and all.
The podcast hit #1 on the iTunes Travel charts in Australia within the first week of launch.
The project involved scouring Australia for guests, who ranged from well-loved advocates to travel bloggers and even carers with stories to share.
As every episode focused on a different person with different needs and preferences, we worked closely with each guest to curate not only their trip but the scheduling, scripts, language and even how we filmed their episode.
The Path To Net Zero
Net zero is a growing ambition for many businesses. But the path to reach there can feel daunting and anything but simple. In their efforts to more businesses on board, AGL wanted to create a poddy that doubled as an educational resource for companies looking to not just survive but thrive through the transition.
The six-part series delves into the process of moving to renewable energy and emissions reduction, structured to take listeners along on the easiest path to net zero.
Hosted by Taylor Hawkins, a young Aussie climate change advocate, the podcast takes a critical, more nuanced look at sustainability in business. Each episode is presented through conversations with industry experts and customers on the net zero journey sharing the ins and outs of the process.
The podcast breaks down why the average business owner needs to be thinking about the future and explores the simple-yet-effective solutions often overlooked for flashier (and often more expensive) initiatives.
